| Govt signs pact with NHPC for power supply in Leh | | | early times reprot
Jammu, Mar 28: The Jammu and Kashmir government has signed power purchase agreement with NHPC for the supply of power in Leh district. In view of upcoming Nimo Bazgo project in Leh with installed capacity of 44 MW, the state government has signed PPA with NHPC for power supply in the district, Minister of State for Power, Shabir Ahmed Khan said in a reply to question of Nurboo Gialchan in the Assembly. He said that after setting up the required electricity infrastructure and commissioning of Nimo Bazgo project, the power requirement of the area would be reassessed to make the necessary agreements. |
