| BJP to investigate 10 scams in four months | | | EARLY TIME REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 28: Jammu and Kashmir BJP has decided to further investigate into atleast 10 scams in the next four months and come out with details.
A decision in this regard was taken in a meeting convened by Dr Jitendra Singh, BJP National Executive Member & Chief Spokesperson and State convenor of party's Scam Committee and held under the chairmanship of BJP National secretary & Former MP Kirit Somaiya.
Kirit Somaiya, while chairing meeting of the State's Scam committee held threadbare discussions with the committee members. During meeting the members apprised him with progress made so far in some scams which have been deeply investigated besides revealing that about a dozen other scams are being reviewed by scam committee.
Dr Jitendra Singh who is state convener J&K Scam Committee said that in the coming months a detailed booklet containing evidences of 10 major scams in Jammu and Kashmir is planned to be released for the public. He said the recent major scams which committee has been identified include, JKCA Scam, Tawi Islands Scam, Forest Land scam, Dal Lake scam, IWDP Scam, MNREGA Scam, PWD Scam and Village Community Land scam.
Among prominent members of committee who attended meeting were Chander Prakash Ganga, Chander Mohan Sharma, Satish Sharma, Sat Sharma (C.A.), Balbir Ram and Rajinder Sharma.
