| Murder accused arrested | | |

Jammu, Mar 28: Gandhi Nagar police arrested the accused, who was absconding after committing murder of a Nai Basti based youth on Tuesday night.
"The accused identified as Sukhdev Singh alias Raja son of Ranjeet Choudhary of Ashok Nagar,Nai Basti was booked under section 302 RPC by Gandhi Nagar police, police sources said.
They said, "The accused after having an argument with one Rohit Mehra which took ugly turn, accused stabbed him and fled from the spot leaving him in a pool of blood."
"The injured though was rushed to the GMC hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, said sources, further adding, "an old enmity is stated to be the reason behind the murder.' |
