| Demand for including Sikhs in social case, sub-caste category | | | JAMMU, Mar 29: National Conference (NC) today urged the government to include Sikhs in social caste and sub-caste categories. The demanded was raised by NC MLC Dharamvir Singh Oberoi while speaking during Zero Hour in Legislative Council today. Narboo Gialchan demanded posting of staff in Ladakh region through competent authority only. Khalid Najeeb Suhrawardy demanded creation of posts of Para-vets in Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department. Javed Rana demanded extra ration depots for Poonch district. Naresh Kumar Gupta demanded supplying timber to consume on cheap rates in Doda district. Jehangir Mir demanded compensation for people whose live stocks perished due to wind storm and repair of damaged transformers in Poonch. Dr. B. A. Veeri demanded compensation to victims of recent IED blast in Bijbehara. Mohammad Ashraf Mir demanded compensation to the affectees of recent wind storm in valley.
