| Inter Collegiate Symposium held | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Mar 29: An Inter Collegiate Symposium context on the topic "Role of Education Human Resource Development" was organized by Bhagat Kabir College Of Education, Kathua in the college.
Dr.(Prof) Ram Krishan Sharma, Principal Govt. Degree College Hiranagar, Kathua was the "Chief Guest" while Dr.(Prof) Ram Murti Sharma, Director Bhagat Kabir and Baba Farid Colleges, Kathua presided over the function. The function started with the lightning of traditional lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana and followed by welcome address Dr Paramjit Kour, Principal of the College. Chief Guest Dr (Prof) Ram Krishan Sharma, in his address stressed upon organizing of such programme which play a vital role in shaping of personality of the students. A panel of jury comprising Prof Yog Datt, Prof Sumanesh Jasrotia, Prof Yash paul Sharma adjudged the performance of participants on the occasion. Mementoes and certificates of the participation were awarded to the participants, while souvenirs were presented to the special invitees. In the end Faculty member Mrs Rajni Sharma, presented vote of thanks. Rakhi Bhardwaj from Cosmic College of Education, Rajesh Kumar Singh of Lal Bahadur Shastri College and Miss Varinder Sharma from New Age College of Education were announced top three winners respectively while Navinata Singh of Rajiv Gandhi College of Education got consolation prize. The students from Cosmic College of Education, Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education, R.S. College of Education, Guru Gang Devi College of Education, New Age College of Education, Baba Farid College of Education, Bhagat Kabir College of Education, Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education, Ashoka College of Education.
