Vendors criticize 'anti encroachment drive'

Kathua, Mar 29: The roadside vendors and kiosks owners in Kathua have criticized and alleged that Kathua Administration and Municipal Council is harassing the poor roadside vendors and shopkeepers in the name of removing the encroachments.
Describing the anti encroachment drive in Kathua old city, the vendors lamented that series of anti encroachment drives have been for the last days under the supervision of ADC Ajay Jamwal and EO MC Harbans Singh is no doubt appreciable but the reheri wallas and roadside vendors are harassed in the name of anti encroachment drive launched by jointly by district administration
