| JKST condoles Er G H Mir's demise | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 29: J&K Society of Technocrats (JKST) has condoled the demise of retired Chief Engineer G H Mir, who passed away a few days back. In a condolence meeting held here today, JKST members under the chairmanship of their president Jatinder Bakshi paid respectful homage to Mir.
While highlighting the achievements of Mir, the Secy General of the Society I C Jandial said that it was the innovative ideas of Mir in road sector of J&K that has led to better road construction in our state.
Jatinder Bakshi President of the Society also paid rich tributes to Mir and recalled his achievements and said he knew Mir personally and called Mir a dedicated and a selfless engineer and officer of great repute.
On the occasion, a two minutes silence was also observed and it was prayed to God to peace to the departed soul. |
