Fast unto death of 'mine workers' enters into 3rd consecutive day

Rajouri, Mar 29: Fast unto death started by the Mogla Coal Miners Kalakote Rajouri in support of their demands today has entered into third consecutive day. Reports said the condition of some of the workmen out of 500 workers, has become serious due to continue fast for the last three days who had went inside Mogla Mines on 27.03.2012 and observed fast unto death demanding implementation of agreement agreed between the management of JK Minerals & Government three months ago i.e. on Dec 18 last year. Among those who are serious inside the tunnel include namely Joginder Singh S/o Tirath Ram, Puran Singh S/o Kelo Singh, Rajesh Kumar S/o Jia Lal, Om Parkash S/o Bittu, Joginder Singh S/o Amar Nath, Krishan Singh S/o Kelo Singh, Chander Shekhar and Rattan Lal. CITU committee express its serious concern over the adamant attitude of the JK Minerals Management urged upon the state government to intervene into matter immediately so that the lives of striking workers can be saved.
