| Burglary worked out, gold jewellery recovered | | | early times report
JAMMU, Mar 30: Working out a burglary case, police today apprehended a thief and recovered from him gold ornaments worth Rs 1 lakh. On February 29 last, Anita Devi of Lehar, Akhnoor, lodged a report with Akhnoor police station that an unknown person had come to her house in the guise of a PDD employee when she was not at home and stolen gold jewellery by befooling her son.
During the course of investigation, police picked up Amit Sharma alias Don, son of Ram Dayal of ward No 9, Akhnoor, and made the recovery of stolen ornaments from him. A case was registered against him at Akhnoor police station. |
