KHC concerned over amnesty to militants | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 30: Kashmiri Hindus Confe-rence (KHC) has expressed concern over Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's announ-cement to grant amnesty to Kashmiri youth who had crossed over to Pak occupied Kashmir (PoK) to get arms training from across the border. In a executive body meeting of KHC which met under the chairmanship of ML Thusoo, the members said that the Chief Minister in his reply to debate on the grants of his departments in the Legislative Assembly did not utter a single word about the Kashmiri Pandit community who are the aboriginal inhabitants of the valley. Thusoo reiterated community's demand for the return and rehabilitation in a single township. The meeting concluded that the amnesty and rehabilitation policy for the youth across the border is not conducive for the state and the country. |
