| PDP MLA Bhat stages walkout | | | Jammu: Walkout was staged by senior PDP leader and legislator Nizamuddin Bhat in the Legislative Assembly today after he objected remarks made by the Speaker Mohammad Akbar Lone in praise and support of Forest Minister Mian Altaf during the question hour.
While Forest Minister Mian Altaf was replying the question, Speaker while referring to some measures in the department said the efforts were appreciative. PDP MLA got up and said the Speaker had been supporting and makings rulings in praise of the government whereas the fact remained that a number of irregularities were surfacing in almost all the departments and there was no name worth the name of government working for welfare of people. |
