| Prog on 'forest conservation' held | | | eARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Mar 30: An awareness campaign for awareness about forest conservation and sustainable management was launched in GMS New Plot, the project approved by the Ministry of Environment and Forest Govt of India. The Zonal Education Planning Officer Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion who also presented the prizes to the participants who were adjudged as first three rankers in debate and painting competition. About 250 students drawn from GMS New Plot GMS Patoli Magotrian, GMS Muthi, GMS Barnai, GMS Janipur, GMS Chanore, GMS Chack Changorwan, GMS Pata Bohri , GMS Bakshi Nagar participated in the rally and activities including painting competition held as a part of programme. ZEPO Jammu Sushila Sharma and Sham Kumar Head Master of the Institution spoke on the occasion and put light on forest conversation and protection of sacred groves etc. |
