| Govt grilled for ignoring directions from chair | | | Jammu, Jan 24
Opposition members today launched an assault on the government for not complying with the directions issued from the chair terming it a breach of privilege of the Hose and the members. The Members were objecting government’s failure in informing the House about the action taken against persons involved in attacking Ramban MLA Dr. Chaman Lal.
Raising the issue after Question Hour, Ali Mohammad Sagar said that privilege of the member is being taken non-seriously by the government. He said while directions from the chair were issued to take action against those involved in the attack, house has not been informed about the same even after two days Other opposition members including Mir Saifulla, Sajad Ahmed Kitchloo, Kaiser Jamshed Loan also him supported the demand.
However, Minister of Health Mangat Ram Sharma assured them that the detail of the action taken against those responsible for attacking the MLA would be presented before the House after lunch brake.
