| Forest conservation and sustainable mgt campaign launched | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 30 : Campaign for awareness about forest conservation and sustainable management was launched in Government Middle School (GMS) New Plot here today as per project approved by the Ministry of Environment and Forest Govt. of India. About 250 students of GMS New Plot GMS Patoli Magotrian, GMS Muthi, GMS Barnai, GMS 2ND Janipur, GMS Chanore, GMS Chack Changorwan, GMS Pata Bohri , GMC GMS Bakshi Nagar of Jammu Zone participated in the rally raising slogans on the topic "Forest for Sustainable Livelihood".
On the occasion, debate and painting competition was also organized.
The Zonal Education Planning Officer Jammu, who was the Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the students. |
