| NPSU protests Hari Singh's statue unveiling on Apr 1 | | | | JAMMU, Mar 30: National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) held a strong protest demonstration at Digiana, Jammu. The protest was against the govt. decision in collaboration with some political organizations to unveil the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh on April 1, which is celebrated as 'fool's day' worldwide. The protest was led by NPSU leader Manmeet Singh Activists of the NPSU gathered at the chowk and raised slogans against the state govt. Addressing the gathering Manmeet Singh said that by choosing April 1 to unveil the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh, the State Government has humiliated and hurt the sentiments of the people of the state particularly the Jammuites. |
