| JAKFAS organises art & craft workshop | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 30: J&K Fine Arts Society (JAKFAS) Jammu organized one day Art & craft workshop for village children at Model Academy School Amala Zone Mahreen, Kathua. Student of class Ist to 6th participated in the workshop wherein JAKFAS artists demonstrate to the children in different techniques in pencil sketching, water colour, block vegetable printing. After the workshop all children participated in painting competition and they divided into two groups. Muskan stood Ist, Sahil Jasrotia 2nd and Vishal Sharma got 3rd prize. Neelam Singh Pathania principal of the school gave away the prizes & certificates to the winners. Speaking on the occasion, general secretary JAKFAS said that the main aim of the society is to promote art & culture and to explore the hidden talent among the children of rural areas. |
