| Jammu based MLA’s stage walk out | | | Jammu, Jan 24
Some Jammu based Members today staged a walk out after they alleged government of discriminating in posting of officers from Jammu in Civil Secretariat and other departments.
Raising the issue Jammu and Kashmir Panther Party supported by BJP and Jammu Morcha members raised the issue soon after the commencement of Question Hour in Legislative Assembly.
While referring to a report appearing in local English daily, members alleged that government is discriminating against the officers of Jammu division by denying them key posts in departments including civil Secretariat. The members raised on their seats and tried to garb the attention of the Chair demanding a statement from the government on the matter. Speaker however paid no heed to their demand who than staged a walk out.
Those who staged walk out included Harshdev Singh, Jugal Kishore, B. Singh Mankotia, Yash Pal Kundal and Ashwani Kumar
