AITTA demands development of tourist spots in Jammu | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , Mar 31 : All India Tour and Travel Association (AITTA) has demanded development of tourist /historical spots in Jammu Division. Addressing a press conference here today at Press Club Jammu, AITTA chairman Narinder Gupta said that there are many tourist/historical spots in Jammu region like. Surinsar lake, Patni Top, Sanasar, Machail Mata, Reasi Fort, Shiv Khori, Budha Amarnath, Shahdra Sharief, Babe-da Jhar ( Jhri), Bahu Fort etc. Besides these spots many new projects needs to be developed, such as construction of artificial lakes at River Tawi & at Mishriwala, construction of cable car project from Panjtirthi to Bahu Fort and construction of parks on both sides of river Tawi and Ranbir Canal. He said Jammu City is the face of J&K State and if face is charming it will speak about the health of the tourism of the State, therefore, Jammu needs to be developed in a be fitting manner so that maximum tourists could be attracted towards the State. Meanwhile Gupta welcomed the order of J&K High Court in which the court has directed the Div Com Jammu to allot five sites for Taxi & Sumo Association at the parking stands. He said this will benefit both the passengers as well as Association. |
