1 killed in accident, man injured by leopard

Srinagar, Jan 24
A conductor of Minibus was killed after a rashly driven bus hit him at Ajas in Bandipora area of north Kashmir here today, while a man was attacked and injured by a leopard in Anantnag.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that a Bus bearing Regt No; JK01/0585 hit and injured conductor of a TATA 407, who has been identified as Shakeel Ahmed Lone s/o Ghulam Rasool Lone, R/O Lone Mohalla Ajas at Saderkoot Bala, sources said adding the injured was referred to SKIMS in critical condition. He succumbed to his injuries soon after he was admitted in the hospital.
Meanwhile, a civilian namely Hafizulla son of Sher Pajwal resident Ahllan under the Jurisdiction of police station Kokernag was attacked and injured by a leopard at Ahllan. The injured person has been hospitalized.
