Kranti Dal condemns harassment of tourists by traffic cops

JAMMU, Mar 31: A team of Kranti Dal activists met tourists to know about their problems at Jammu. General Secretary Pritam Sharma accompanied by Kranti Dal senior leaders Jagdish Sudan, Rajinder Bhagat and Ravi Sharma led the team
Kranti Dal leaders strongly condemned the role of traffic police towards tourists who visit Jammu and Katra. A group of ten tourists who met with the harassment of J&K traffic police narrate their tale of woes to Kranti Dal leaders. Tourists told that when they were travelling from Katra to Jammu, traffic police challaned them at five nakas without any fault. They cut their challan without issuing any receipts. Further they explain that at Indira Chowk, Jammu, Traffic police officer with three stars ignore their pleas and cut challan of Rs 500. They were very frustrated with the attitude of traffic police.
Pritam Sharma said that copy of complaint already sent to DIG traffic police adding that Kranti Dal demands action against those who are responsible for harassing the tourists.
