| Man dies of shock on seeing son's body crushed in accident | | | Early Times report
RAJOURI, Mar 31: A man died of shock here today after seeing the body of his son who was killed in a road accident in Jawahar Nagar market here.
Sanjay Kochchar (40) of lower Jawahar Nagar, a businessman by profession, was walking by the roadside in Jawahar Nagar market when he was crushed badly by a truck at about 9 pm. The body was later shifted by police to the mortuary of district hospital here. His father Kamal Kochchar was not at home at the time of the incident. It was at about 3 pm when he came to the mortuary to identify his son, official sources said.However, when he saw his son's badly crushed body, he suffered a shock and died instantly. Police had seized the truck (JK02G/5545) and arrested its driver who was identified as Tirath Singh, son of Balwant Singh of Kunjwani, Jammu. |
