| Pathania hails statue installation of Hari Singh | | | Early Times Report
DEHMA (Ramnagar), Apr 1: Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) leader RS Pathania has welcomed the initiative of Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha in installing a life-size statue of Maharaja Hari Singh at Jammu. While chairing a largely-attended meeting of party workers at village Dehma in Ramnagar Tehsil, Pathania said that given the historical event of signing of Instrument of Accession by late Maharaja, his dare-devilness, diplomacy, statesmanship, political steadfastness and pragmatism with no parallel in the annals of history, his statue deserved to be installed much earlier in Jammu. He further said that the installation of statue of Maharaja has brought forth a moot-point that his model of governance, style of administering justice, has to be emulated in today's geo-political atmosphere of J&K.
The beauty and balance with which he had ruled this multi-ethnic, multi-religious, multi-linguistic and multi-cultural state is a source of inspiration for present-day rulers, Pathania said
On the occasion, Congress workers made a fervent appeal to state government as well as Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha for installing a magnificent statue of Raja Ram Singh at Ramnagar. |
