| Coalition govt failed to provide good governance : PDP | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Apr 1: Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) today slammed the state government over its failure on all fronts in providing good governance to the people. In a workers' meeting held in Rajouri under the leadership of senior PDP leader Shahzad Khan among other issues the workers were apprised of the public rally to be held on April 16 to be addressed by PDP president Mehbooba Mufti. Khan criticized the state government over its failure to provide good transparent governance to the people. He said that corruption has crossed all limits and nowhere accountability and transparency is to be seen. Now the cricket scam that has come also needs to be enquired by the CBI. "The premature retirements and vigilance raids of the selected few low rank officials by the government show its hypocrisy. Why have the bigger fish left out?" he enquired.Shahzad said that no relief was announced for the people of Rajouri and Poonch during the snowfall. Even where relief ration had been announced, the people are yet to receive them.
Talking on the issues of unemployment, Khan said that the NC led government has throughout its tenures befooled the innocent youth with its flawed policies. With scam after scam surfacing, the educated youth have been rendered disillusioned and alienated.The New Recruitment Policy proposed is not only bias but bad in law too. He said that it is unfortunate that the youth are forced to venture out of the state in search of employment thanks to apathetic attitude of the government. |
