PDP-BJP have tactit understanding: Rana | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 1: Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Devender Singh Rana today said that the PDP and BJP have a tactit understanding to create disharmony and destabilize the peace process in Jammu and Kashmir for their petty political ends. He said they (PDP-BJP) are the two faces of the same coin who are bent upon defeating the secular forces in the state without bothering for the welfare of the people of the state who have suffered because of their nefarious designs. Rana further said that the PDP was created by the BJP during the Vajpayee government with the sole aim of creating fissures in the secular fabric of Jammu and Kashmir by orchestrating the defeat of the National Conference in 2002 elections which is the true representative of the people of Jammu & Kashmir and has a strong footing in all the three regions cutting across religious lines. Rana who was addressing a largely attended public meeting in Panchayat Kalyana of R.S. Pura assembly constituency which was organized by Raj Kumar Sarpanch said that the people have not forgotten and will not pardon PDP and BJP for sowing the seeds of mistrust and hatred in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the miseries inflicted on the people of the state in 2008 are still alive and afresh in the minds of the people. Addressing the gathering Provincial President J&K National Conference Jammu province Rattan Lal Gupta said that the state National Conference- Congress coalition government under the leadership of Omar Abdullah has given a new political discourse to the state by starting an era of clean, ethical, value based politics. |
