| No shortage of medicines, equipments in Ramnagar constituency: Sham | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 2 : Minister for Health, . Sham Lal Sharma today informed the Legislative Assembly that present 56 Allopathic Health Institutions and 15 ISM Dispensaries are operational in Ramnagar Constituency.
He said that against the sanctioned of 51 posts of doctors and specialists in Ramnagar constituency, 30 posts are in position. Similarly, against 168 sanctioned posts of paramedical staff, 121 are in position. In ISM sector, against the sanctioned strength of 15 doctors, 11 are in position and against 21 sanctioned posts of paramedical staff, 18 posts are in position.
Replying to the calling attention notice of . Harsh Dev Singh, the Minister said that the vacant posts have been referred to recruiting agencies for making selection and as soon as the section panel is received these posts shall be filled up. Besides, under NRHM, 67 Doctors/Paramedics have been engaged on contractual basis in Ramnagar constituency to supplement the health care facilities.
The Minister further informed that there is no shortage of Medicines in the Health Institutions of Ramnagar constituency as the same are being supplied as per the work load /norms within the budgetary provisions of the health institutions.
However, if there is any additional requirement, the same is also supplemented after getting the demand.
Regarding medical equipment and ambulance in the constituency, he said there is no shortage of equipments as per norms and requirements at the Health institutions. |
