| "Damri Shobha Yatra" to begin on Apr 5 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 2: Guru Ravi Dass Satsang Society Jammu J&K, on behalf of Dera Swami Jagat Giri Charitable Trust Path ankot is conducting "Damri Shobha Yatra" being organized by Guru Ravi Dass Sadhu Samaj Samparday Society Punjab from Jammu to Haridwar. Earlier this yatra was being organized from Jallandhar to Hari dwar but since there are a sizeable number of followers of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj in J&K state and as such Sadhu Samp raday Society has decided to start yatra this year from Jammu under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj.
The Shobha yatra will start from Shri Guru Ravi Dass Bhawan Sikan derpur Kothey, Jammu on April 5 at 7 am and will reassemble at Kunjwani Chowk Jammu at 7:30 am. About 50-60 small, medium and heavy vehicles will form the cavalcade that will follow the 'palki' of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj. It will be flagged off by Raman Bhalla, Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation. Besides Swarn Lata Vice-Chairperson for Welfare and Development of SCs, MLA Bharat Bhushan ,Yashpal Kun dal, Durga Dass and MLC BR Kundal. |
