| Corruption flourishing in Industrial sector in Kathua | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA , Apr 2 : The most brutal face of the mafia has been developed in Government department in order to plunder the money of common man by flourishing the corruption in collaboration with Industrialists in Kathua blamed the president Federation of Unions of Industrial Workers and Raj Kumar General Secretary Industrial workers Ekta Union Kathua in a press conference .
On the occasion they alleged that the state coalition Government and the local Kathua administration to extend the full cooperation to the MET Trade India Ltd.
To expand it's cruel and undemocratic, anti labour and anti state policies in the Kathua and most of the departments like DIC, Police, Labour Pollution and other departments gets handsome bribe from the management of the MET Trade India Ltd. They said that there grave injustice has been done to the 387 workers working in MET Trade India Ltd Kathua by terminating their services at a time in December 25,2009 due to reason 387 families have rendered to suffer starvation.
There are so many representations were made before the Director, I&C, CA &PD, Labour Minister, J&K Labour Commissioner, Dy. Commissioner, Kathua, but no justice was restored to the workers, Tarigami, MLA put up the burning question of labour in the assembly. They said that main problems and sufferings of the workers of MET Trade India Ltd.
This needs to be investigated since fall such transaction is under the supervision of corrupt offices in DIC, Kathua and DIC Samba in which Director Industries is the main authority who allows such malpractices. In the conference Khem Raj, Sucha Singh, Malvinder Singh, Jagdish Raj, Sandhu Rani, Ranjit Singh, Raj Kumar, Lal Chand, and others were present. |
