| JKWWS organises musical ballet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 2: To celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore, Jay Kay Women Welfare Society (JKWWS) organized a Musical Ballet here today at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu and left the audience spellbound.
Savita Bakshi appreciated the dance performance of the children and the professional artists who render the scintillating performance. She also congratulated Choreographer Pt Naryan Parsad and Music Composer Suriender Singh Manhas for their efforts in making this ballet a classic master piece.
The artists who performed include Virasha, Narinder Bhardwaj (Vicky), Poonam Honda, Anil Kumar, Raj Nandni, Akshta Gupta, Swikriti Mahajan, Charavi Gupta, Arshi Kumari, Padma besides Daksha Gupta , Parivaha Gupta , Trisha Gupta, Vardha, Sabhavi and Neetu gave a Kathak recitial .
Ramesh Parvana and Neeraj Verma accompanied Harmo nium and Tabla respectively.
The welcome address and the proceeding of the programme were conducted by Dr. Sudhir Mahajan. While vote of thanks By T R Sharma, Secretary Jay Kay Women Welfare Society, Jammu.
At the concluding of the function the chief guest distributed mementoes to the participating artists and the children who presented Kathak recital. |
