| Niaz invites NRIs to invest in J&K | | | Jammu | Jan 24
On the invitation of NRIs Organization headed by Sam Verma, from America, Former Minister for Power, Mohammed Sharief Niaz attended the Sadbhavana programme organized by the Association at Beitul near Bhopal as a Chief Guest.
The function was attended among others by the different intellectuals, Political leaders, Social workers, Poets, Writers, Artists etc from all over the country. The aim of the program organized by the NRIs of USA were for promotion of peace, prosperity and Communal harmony in the country.
Niaz in his address appreciated the efforts of the delegates of the Organization for showing keen interest in the country’s development. He said the situation in J&K has improved many fold and appealed the delegates of NRIs to invest in the J&K state in Industrial Tourism sector, and in Power sector, as the J&K state has great potential for generating power. He during his stay Niaz also visited Aeroplain / Tyre factory in Betual which as been established by USA based NRIs.
The delegates of USA based NRIs in their speech appreciated the suggestion of Niaz and assured that they will provide all possible supports in the development of the state. A cultural program presented by the Artists of J&K was highly appreciated by the speakers of the Organization.
