4th round of Shree Chandi Bhajan competition on April 8 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 2: Shree Chandi Mata Trust, Jammu has successfully completed three rounds of a 6-round Shree Chandi Bhajan competition held at Mahajan hall recently. Addressing the media persons, the Chairman, Shree Chandi Mata Trust, Jammu, Bansi Lal Gupta said that in all 60 contestants took part in the 1st and 2nd round of the competition. Eight contestants were eliminated in the 2nd round. The 3rd round which held on March 25, out of 52 contestants who recited their bhajans of Shree Chandi Mata, 13 were ousted. Remaining 39 will now be eligible to participate in the 4th round of the competition to be held on April 8 at Mahajan Hall. He informed that the Dy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla and Sports Minister, R S Chib were the chief guests at all these rounds, among the other dignitaries. Gupta further said that with the construction of Shree Chandi Dham at Jammu for which the Trust is making every effort, will boost the religious tourism in the state on the pattern of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi , Baba Amar Nath , Shiv Khori, Jhiri Mela, Shri Chandi Mata Machail and many other religions places worth for religious pilgrims. |
