| Maha Yagya performed at Lalaji's Ashram | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 2: On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navmi, a Maha Yagya was performed here the other day at Shri Lala Ji's Ashram, Bhagwati Nagar.
On the occasion a large number of devotees participated in the Maha Yagya to seek the blessing of Maa Durga.
Mantras were recited in praise of Maa Durga by the devotees.
Vijay Bakaya, MLC was the chief guest of the occasion. He was impressed with the arrangement made by trust to facilitate the large number of devotees and gave a brief message about the importance of Ram Navmi in our religion and at the same time appreciated the efforts made by the trust in disseminating the teachings of Shri Lala Ji to the masses and keeping the religious values alive, and assured the trustees that the difficulties they are facing in running the ashram in the absence of proper facilities will be addressed soon.
While interacting with the devotees Bakaya was happy to know that the hard work done, for the betterment of the ashram was yielding results.
Dr Agni Shekhar, who was also present on the occasion stressed the devotees to know the cultural and religious values of this Ram Navmi. |
