JAMMU, Apr 3: The Business School (TBS) clinchedthe carom title after the side outplayed Department of Physical Education 2-0in the final of the ongoing inter-department sports meet of University of Jammu,here today. In thesingles matches played in the final, Arunoday Singh defeated Mohd Irshad Naikwhile Amit Pal Singh downed Taranpal Singh to make it 2-0 victory for the team.
Meanwhile,semifinals and finals in other three events of badminton, table tennis andchess could not be held in the morning session because Department of Law players were busy with their cricket match. The Department of Law has reached the final of all the three indoor events. |
