Poonch , Apr 3 : Goods worth over Rs 1.24 crore was traded today between along the Line of Control at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point here, officials said.
As many as 26 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger here to POK today, they said, adding these trucks carried bags of chilli, onion, banana, coriander and tamarind worth Rs 78,03,085. From PoK, six trucks carrying bags of almond, dry grapes, dry dates, keenu and Pesha wari sandal crossed to this side, worth Rs 46,41,326.
The officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1300 hours to 1330 hours and 1700 hours to 1730 hours, they said. |
