| YLA against polarization of Bar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 3 : In connection with the issue evolved few days back at Rajouri district court in the organization of Young Lawyers Association, all the young lawyers unanimously framed and constituted its executive body in order to uphold and rise the genuine grievances faced by the advocates and appointed advocate Ahsan Mirza as the president and advocate Shoket Ali as General Secretary.
Lambasting the dictatorial attitude of the Bar Association Rajouri Advocate Ahsan Mirza President Young Lawyer Association Rajouri claimed that it is not the first time that this sought of body has been constituted.
It is a convention and never in the history of the state had that any Bar Association criticized such move by the young advocates. He further said that the Bar Association has always remained as the source of inspiration and has always provided the patronage to the young advocates, but this time it is irony that some persons with disguised intentions has made it an issue.
In spite of encouraging the youth who are full of zeal and energy they are polarizing the advocates and are showing their personal and vested intentions to sit on the helm of affair and are just halting the very fundamentals of democracy in which peoples voice is treated as the voice of God.
While speaking on the occasion Advocate Shoket Ali General Secretary Young Association Rajouri quoted that dissolving and constituting the bodies of YLA is out from the discretion and jurisdiction of the Bar Association.
They can guide us, can act our mentors can suggest us to hold programmes for the Welfare of Bar but cannot dissolve the body because of the soul reason that YLA has its own constitution and code of conduct. Others who are present in the press conference include advocate Waqar Salaria, advocate Deepakia Thusoo, advocate Javid Mirza, Advocate Mushtaq Choudhary, Advocate Shafiq Choudhary, Advocate Sahil Gupta, Advocate Rinku Sharma, Advocate Majid Shah and ors. |
