Nearly 5 lakh applications received under PSGA: Govt | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, ApR 3 : More than 92 per cent of nearly five lakh applications received under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA) in various districts have been disposed of within prescribed time, Government said today. "As many as 4,95,600 applications have been received by designated officers in various districts of the State under the Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011 as on February 25, 2012," Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather said in reply to a question in the Legislative Council. Of this, about 4.60 lakh applications were disposed of within the prescribed time, he added. Rather said administrative secretaries have been directed to ensure strict implementation of the Act by designated officers and appellate authorities." The government has issued instructions to all the administrative secretaries, state level nodal officers, deputy commissioners, head of departments and district level nodal officers to inspect the offices of the designated officers and appellate authorities to ensure strict implementation of the Act," he said. |
