| Beig seeks people support to change prevailing corrupt system | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 3: Dubbing Omar Abdullah led government as worst ever corrupt regime the state has witnessed so far, former Deputy Chief Minister and senior leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Muzaffar Hussain Beig today sought cooperation of the government to change the present corrupt and inefficient system.
Addressing a function to welcome large number of people who have joined PDP, Beig observed that expect promises this regime has done nothing in the state. He said that corruption has crossed all limits and one and only noticeable achievement of this regime was legalization of corruption in the state."Credibility of National Conference (NC) led coalition regime has reached at its lowest ebb because this dispensation has lost faith of the common masses due to misdeeds", he said, added that during the last three years the system has been totally collapsed because the government has eroded all institutions in the state through its deceit tactics. Pointing towards recent exposure of corruption case in which amount worth crores were embezzled from the account of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Beig said that corruption has sneaked from top to bottom in the administration.
Reiterating resolve of his party to address aspirations of all regions and sub-regions of the state, Beig said that through its visionary and pro-people policies PDP led regime had set an example of good governance wherein all sections of the society were treated equally.
