| Villagers of Reasi highlight problems | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , Apr 4 : A meeting of villagers residing in district Reasi was held at Panchayat Dera Baba Banda Bahadur under the chairmanship of Mohd. Sharief, Sarpanch. In the meeting they highlighted the problem faced by the villagers. The villagers said that there is dire need of a bridge on the river Chenab either near Dera Baba Banda Bahadur or Bhabber for the convenience of the people of 12 Panchayats including Tehsil Akhnoor and District Reasi.
A 24 hours medical facility should be given to the people of Dera Baba Banda Bahadur/Bhabber, Kundra so that in case of emergency, they do not face any difficulty. An ambulance should be given to the dispensary at Dera Baba Banda Bahadur, Reasi.
They said that in village Tanda, there is no electricity and water facility in ward No.6 and 7 of Schedule Tribe Mohalla.
The people demanded upgradation of Govt Middle School Mansoo to High School and Govt. High School Kanjali be upgraded to Higher Secondary Level. All the residents of Dera, Bhabber, Kundra appealed to the concerned authorities to kindly take immediate action into the above said matters.
Those who were present in the meeting included Sham Lal (Sarpanch, village Kanjali), Mohd. Sadiq Panch, Talib Hussain Panch, Champa Devi Panch, Girdhari Lal Panch, Sansar Chand Panch, Mohd. Shafi Panch, Abdul Gafoor Panch, Maya Devi, Sardar Bibi Panch, Bansi Lal Panch, Makhan Lal Panch, Anita Devi, Som Dutt Panch and others. |
