| JUNTEU celebrates Annual day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 4 : Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Union ( JUNTEU) today celebrated its annual day with joy and pomp. Vice chancellor Jammu Univeristy , Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar was the Chief Guest on the occasion and whereas Prof Naresh Padha, Registrar,University of Jammu and Jb. Ghulam Jeelani Wani, President,KUMSA were Guest of Honour on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Prof Ishar said that he is glad that Non Teaching Staff Association is working for the welfare of the employees and this Union is one among the few which celebrates Annual Day.Prof Ishar assured non-teaching staff that their all genuine demands shall be taken care off .With great eagerness of the Non-Teaching Staff and other dignitaries assembled there, the programme began with the Group song which mesmerized the audience with its harmony. This was followed by a Hindi skit on child feticide that made everyone think.
The Dogri group song that followed next captivated the hearts of everyone with its mellifluous rhythm .Besides other cultural items were also presented.
Among others Prof Lokesh Verma, Provost, Hostels, Prof Desh Bandhu, Director, CDC, Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Director, DDE, Prof Kuldeep Sharma , Director,DIQA, Prof Dhain S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Physical Education, Dr Jai Kumar, Dr Jatinder Khajuria, Executive members of the Union, Students, Scholars were also present on the occasion. |
