| PAPA alleges irregularities in Cooperative dept | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 4: People's Action & Public Accountability" (PAPA) has alleged that constant and ugly exposures in state co-operative department have once again uncovered the casual approach and the hollow claims of State Cooperative Minister and his executives, who badly failed to rectify the old existing errors and instead of any exercise towards the reforms, have encouraged the illegalities. Addressing the associated members of the society, its president Deep Singh said that one fails to understand that why our ruling class is focused on dishonesty and always seem ready just to ruin the basic structure of our beautiful state.
Prevailing era is facing unlimited problems in agriculture, housing, education and above all the employment and no doubt a disciplined and organized co-operative sector can certainly meet-up such challenges, he added.
Singh said it is the state government that is never serious for co-operative department. He said that so many glaring examples in this regard are in front of us like posting of an ineligible and corrupt officer namely GN Qasba firstly as additional Registrar then as full fledged Registrar some time back, now appointment of a General Manager as Deputy Registrar, illegally elected management of JCC Bank.
PAPA strongly criticizes the ongoing casual approach of the state coalition government towards the co-operative sector and will start a campaign against its misdeeds, Singh said. |
