Jihad Council has ruled out threats to kill politicians in valley. In a statement faxed to KNS, Jihad Council spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain has said he is in receipt of some reports that some elements are threatening to kills politicians in valley.
Clarifying he said “ we strongly reject such acts and thinking” Saying that such acts are not in the interest of any freedom struggle, but can only strengthen Indian interests, the spokesman did not rule out the possibility of difference with political leadership,but ruled that killing any one on differing policy issues is not justifiable in any way.
Claiming that neither Jihad Council nor any militant outfit issues threats to killed politicians, the spokesman alleged that such acts are the brain child of Indian intelligence agencies to create a civil war like situation in Kashmir. He strongly condemned such acts and thinking.
