| MIER college of education holds alumni meet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 4: MIER College of Education, which has the distinction of producing more than 10000 trained professionals during the past 30 years, organized an Alumni Meet at its campus.
The objective of this alumni meet was to bring the alumni on a single platform for exchange of new ideas and for professional development as well as to help renew contacts with old friends. Dr.Arun K. Gupta, Chairman MIER Group of Institutions was the Chief Guest on the occasion where as Dr. Renu Gupta, Director MIER was the Guest of Honour. Dr.Arun Gupta, in his presidential address said that the role of alumni has been tremendous in the meteoric rise of the institute as it is on the basis of their valuable experiences and feedback that they have been able to achieve this lofty position. A brief journey of the growth of the institution was portrayed by Dr. Adit Gupta, Joint Director MIER. An impressive cultural programme was also presented by the present batch of B.Ed. students. Dr. Ira, Senior Lecturer PG Dept. MIER College of Education conducted the programme. |
