VCE to start M Tech courses from ensuing session | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 4: In a short span of time with focus and objectivity in mind, Vaishno Group of Colleges has made a permanent niche in education sector. AICTE has given approval to Vaishno College of Engineering (VCE) for M Tech and Polytechnic (Diploma in Engineering) in addition to the existing B Tech course. The college which enrolled its first batch of B Tech course in 2010, now has been accorded sanction by AICTE to run post graduate courses in Engineering. From the forth coming session i.e 2012-2013, the college will run M Tech courses in Civil and Mechanical Engineering with a capacity of 24 seats each. In addition to the post graduate courses, AICTE has also accorded sanction to Diploma courses in Civil and Mechanical Engineering branches with a capacity of 60 seats each and increases the capacity of B Tech Civil Engineering branch from 120 to 240. This has become possible only by the honest effort of the management, availability of state of the art infrastructure, spacious classrooms, laboratories and workshop equipped with latest equipments and machinery, the computer centre and computer labs with 1:1 student to computer ratio and wifi facilities in the campus. As per the college management it was their dream to provide quality higher education to the people of the region which has come true.
