RAMNAGAR, Apr 5: Senior Vice-President, Pradesh Youth Congress, R S Pathania today said today that
Recently concluded Budget Session had disappointed and dejected the people of Ramnagar.
Pathania while addressing a mammoth monthly meet of party workers and general public at Dak Bungalow, Ramnagar alleged that least attention was paid to the burning issues confronting the people of Ramnagar and the allocated funds and approved projects for Ramnagar are far less as compared to those for other assembly segments.
Regretting that no assurance with regard to setting up of Degree Colleges at Majalta and Basantgarh had been made on the floor of House, Pathania said that even the pending demand of an ITI College at Majalta was ignored.
Pathania said that no concern was displayed for the development and beautification of Ramnagar town while no action plan was delineated for time-bound and technically and qualitatively sound completion of the ambitious Roun-Ramnagar road.
There was a dire need for special package for Majalta Tehsil so as to operationalise newly-upgraded Majalta Tehsil in a most effective and target-oriented way but nothing concrete has been announced, he added No action plan for dealing with shortage of staff and infrastructure in various schools of the area and poor condition of link roads has been spelled out, Pathania said.
