Governor visits Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 5 : Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today visited the cave shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and took stock of the various ongoing development projects. The Shrine Board has launched various projects, including expanding and upgrading the facilities for the pilgrims, beautification and protection of environment of the tracks en route yatra. Mr Vohra, who is also the Chairman of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, paid obeisance at the shrine and prayed for peace and prosperity of the State. The Governor asked the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to improve the pace of construction of Pony Stand and immediately commence work on the New Locker Complex in the Bhawan area, both of which were lagging behind the envisaged completion schedules. Mr Vohra also reviewed the status of the Material Ropeway Project from Siar Dabri to Bhawan and Passenger Ropeway from Bhawan to Bhairon Temple. |
