| Shaheen calls on CM | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 5: National Conference leader Sajjad Shaheen met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and appreciated him for taking innovative and historical initiatives. Shaheen hailed the decisions like Right to Information, Public Service Guarantee Act, SKEWPY for unemployed educated youth, opening of new Polytechnic colleges at all the districts, sanctioning of dozens of new degree colleges and other initiatives taken for the overall development of all the regions of the state. He apprised CM about the day to day problems of the people and other development related activities taken up in tehsil Banihal. He said that some remote and far flung areas are still without basic facilities like drinking water, electricity, road connectivity, proper health care facilities and education related infrastructure. |
