Kranti Dal demands probe into income of Dharmarth Trust | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 5 : Kranti Dal has demanded intervention of Dr Karan Singh into the affairs and functioning of Dharmarth Trust. Addressing a press conference here today, General Secretary Kranti Dal Pritam Sharma alleged appealed Dr Karan Singh the Chairman Trustee of the Dharmarth Trust to look into the scandals which are prevailing in Dharmarth Trust, which is constituted by his predecessors to look after and maintain the Hindu Shrines and temples in the State and fulfill the long aspirations of the Hindu Community of the State. Sharma alleged that the present president of Dharmarth Trust, Th. Diwakar Singh, who is on the post for the last 14 years has sold the land and properties of the Hindu temples in Jammu and Kashmir. Due to misdeeds of the President, the royal family of J&K is also under scanner of the people, who still respect them, he added. Kranti Dal demanded a thorough investigation of the income (through donations & offerings) and the property of the J&K Dharmarth Trust and asked Dr. Karan Singh to hold an enquiry to ascertain the circumstances in which Th. Diwakar Singh is occupying the post for such a long term and against the constitution of the Dharmarth Trust.
