| District Secretary NC among nine prominent workers join PDP | | |

Jammu, Apr 6 Several prominent leaders of the ruling National Conference, Congress and BJP from Reasi district, including District Secretary of NC Parveen Akhter, today joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) here. On the motivation of PDP District President Reasi Partap Sharma and Zone President Bansi Lal Thakur, many grass root level workers from NC, Congress and BJP today joined PDP in presence of senior party leaders here. Among them were Parveen Akhter, District Secretary NC, Mohd Mushtaq Khan, Romesh Kumar Mengi, Shiv Nanadan Khajuria, Prem Santosh Sharma, Master Munshi Ram, Romesh Gandotra Darshana, Sushma and Subash Khajuria were prominent leaders of NC, Congress and BJP. While welcoming them into the party-fold, Daman Bhasin, senior party Leader urged them to whole-heartedly support the policies and programmes of PDP in every nook and corner of the district as it is the only party which can come up to the expectations of the people of the state. On this occasion, Parveen Akhter who left NC and joined PDP, assured the party Leaders that she and her other colleagues will leave no stone unturned to strengthen the PDP in every nook and corner of Reasi District. |
