| Awareness campaign on health education held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 6: Today on the eve of World Health day, Global Green Peace & Environmental Protection GGPEP in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar, Dept. of Science & Technology an autonomous body, New Delhi organised a awareness campaign on health education at Govt. Middle School, Gouper Basti R.S. Pura at Indo-Pak Border of Suchetgarh to aware the masses about the “Health” in which Vipnet clubs like Maharaja Surajmal Bal Science Clubs, Newton Club, Kalpana Chawal Science Club, Govt. Middle School Gouper Basti, Govt. primary School Shamka, Govt. Middle School Bera, and Model Public School Shamka took active parts in awareness campaign.
The Headmaster Pawan Dev Singh Chib that if “wealth” is lost nothing is lost, but if character is lost everything is lost.
Health is a state of complete Physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease on Infirmity, he said.
The food alone does not keep you in good health several factors like cleanliness and sanitation of your surroundings, quality of food, drinking water and purity of air very importance.
The health is affected not only by unbalanced food but also by diseases which may be water borne air bore or food borne.
According to president of GGPEP Devinder Kumar good health may be considered as the state of human body, when all it’s the organs are functioning properly.
