| Khwaja Ekram is new director NCPUL | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 6: Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary Society (RJMLS) has hailed the appointment of Khwaja Ekram as New Director, National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) New Delhi.
In this connection a meeting of the RJML Society was today held under the chairmanship of Society President Shohab Inayat Malik in which members thanked the HRD Minister Kapil Sibal for appointing a young & dynamic man to the prestigious post.
They hoped that under the leadership of Khwaja Ekram the NCPUL will achieve its goal. The speakers also highlighted the qualities of head & heart of Khwaja Ekram and described him a honest & dedicated person who always struggle for the promotion of
Urdu Language in the country.
In its presidential address Shohab discussed his close relations with Khwaja Ekram which are spread over 15 years. He said that Khwaja Ekram is not only a reputed writer of Urdu language but also a good organizer who had visited so many countries of the world.
For the promotion of Urdu Language he is doing a tremendous job through information technology.
Shohab hoped that under the dynamic leadership of Khwaja Ekram NCPUL will archive new heights. He offered his full support to the new Director & hoped that he will pay special attention to the state of J&K where Urdu happens to be the official language. Those who were present on the occasion included Aseer Kishtwari, Ravi Thakur, Pyare Hatash, Shehnaz Qadri.
