PGTA discusses problems of fraternity

Jammu Apr 6: J&K Post Graduate Teachers Association (PGTA) held under the chairmanship of Raj Singh Vice President of the Association to discuss issues and problems of teaching community particularly the promotion of Masters/Teachers to Lecturers and Regularization of I/c Lecturers.
Addressing to the meeting Raj Singh demanded the early release of Promotion Lists of Lecturers in various disciplines before the commencement of new academic session and to fill posts of lecturers lying vacant in different subjects.
During the meeting members also discussed that government has not issued any promotion list of lecturers for more than four years. Singh and others speakers stressed the Government to issue formal order of regularization in accordance to the set norms as laid down in Government Order No. 305 of 2010 so that genuine I/c Lecturers may not suffer anymore.
Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Anchal Saini, Ajay Kumar, Rajesh Sudan, Vikas Sharma, Ravinder Rao, Sharat Chander,. Surinder Kumar and Jugal Kishore also were present in the meeting.
